    Seeking Advice for Deleting a File that Won't Delete


    Windows 10 Pro - Version 20H2 (OS Build 19042.928) Howdy Folks, I'm looking for the easiest way to delete a file that won't delete. FWIW: this is an instructional video I downloaded for a new software I purchased: PDFelement Video Extension: .mkv (apparently it only plays embedded in Wondershare's website) I've tried several methods with no luck. ... short of booting into Safe Mode or downloading special software just for this one issue. TIA to all who read this and to those who reply.

    Cannot delete files in Temp

    There are a few files that i cant delete in
    C:\Documents and Settings\1st User\Local Settings\Temp
    which are ~DF567B.tmp, ~DFB71E.tmp, ~ROMFN_000007A8 and Perflib_Perfdata_7a8.dat. And some times there are a few more.
    What are these files and why cant they be deleted?

    I have that same problem. But the file I want to delete contains viruses too. I tried everything you said but nothing works. Could you please send me the secure deleter you wrote?
