Windows 10: "Select what happens with removable drives" Popup Appears Constantly

I realise that it's probably a problem with my removable drive, that it'll briefly lose contact with Windows, and then I get the popup again when it reconnects.


However.


What would I like to happen with removable drives?


I would like that freaking popup to stop showing up!!!! It even appears when I'm in full screen games!!!!!!!!!!! Make it stop!!!!!!!!!!!!!

• what is the exact issue that you want us to help with? Do you want to get help in projecting a second screen or to remove the popup?
• As you've said " I tried unsuccessfully to project a screen", do you wish to project a second screen currently?
• What happened exactly when you tried to project a second screen? Did you receive any error message or any error code?

The popup comes as the system might not be able to detect the monitors. I suggest you to update the Display drivers, it may force the system to detect the available monitors. Here is the steps:

• Press “Windows + X” and select Device manger.
• Locate the driver and expand the driver icon.
• Right click on the driver icon and click on Update.

By default, only Fixed disk drives are listed in the popup menu but you can configure Removable disk drives and DVD/CD-ROM drives to be included. The drives removable from the "Safely Remove Hardware" icon also can be configured. The non-hot swap drives also can be configured but listed in gray.
