Discus and support "Select which icons appear on the taskbar" setting for "You have new unread email messages"... in Windows 10 Customization to solve the problem; I'm missing email notifications because I expect a notification on the taskbar, not in the hidden icons.     "Select which icons appear on the taskbar" setting for "You have new unread email messages"...


    I'm missing email notifications because I expect a notification on the taskbar, not in the hidden icons. Is there any way to troubleshoot this or find out if it's being changed by a corporate policy or Windows or Office update?The icon does show in hidden icons, Outlook is set to display the icon, and I have turned the option on in "Select which icons appear on the taskbar."
