Windows 10: Selecting Objects in Paint 3D

This is probably a silly question but I'm just getting started with Paint 3D and keep running into the same problem. I laid out several copies of rectangles. After selecting another tool I wanted to go back and move the rectangles. However, the select tool does not select them. For the life of me I can't figure out how to move an object after the menu and dialogue box for it is closed. Can anyone help me please?

Problem selecting objects in W10 Paint 3D

Hi any big users of Paint 3D out there? I've got this recurring problem where I an trying to point at a drawing object I've made with my cursor to select it - and it does not matter how many times I try or where I click on the object - its almost as if Paint 3D can't see that there is an object there. I get round it by grouping objects - spinning the whole pic around and then ungrouping and pointing at the object again to select. Sometimes that works , sometimes not. Its a right pain in the rear end! I've also tried looping around the object and again sometimes it picks it up sometimes not. I've also tried working in 3D mode - it works a bit better - but again not 100% and I find that view a bit awkward. Is there some surefire way of making sure when I'm point at something - Paint 3D actually selects it? In PowerPoint this is easy - because if you get a heavily layered pic with a lot of objects - you can use the Select Pane to cycle through the objects until you get to the one you want- but I don't think there is a similar function in Paint 3D? Thanks

 

Lowering triangle amount on Paint 3D

The option to increase or decrease the number of triangles/polygons in
Paint 3D is a great idea. We suggest the you share your idea/feedback so that it will be considered in future updates of the app. Here are the steps to send a feedback:

• Open the Paint 3D app.
• Click on Menu.
• On the lower left portion, select Help and Feedback.
• Press the Give feedback button under Give feedback.

Licensing of Microsoft's 3D Objects on Paint 3D

I am looking for licensing of 3D objects in the extended library on Paint 3D. I would like to share some designs on thingiverse based on objects I found in that library. However, I don't want to do so if it violates your licensing.
