Windows 10: Selectively suspend applications

I've got a Bluestacks emulator running with several multiplayer game windows open, and I want to be able to selectively suspend the entire Bluestacks program, much like sleep mode.

Right now, If the entire PC sleeps and wakes, the game running in the emulator will receive a stream of update messages from the server and updates its state, so that works well at night to save power if I'm not looking at it.

What I'd like to do is selective suspend the emulator as if only the emulator has been put to sleep, so I can use the PC for other tasks without having to restart the entire emulator, login etc, which takes about a minute for each instance. By contrast wake from sleep takes less than 20 seconds for the entire machine.

Is this even possible on Windows 10?

USB selective suspend settings not available?

Hello Grant,

To answer your question about USB Selective Suspend Settings, follow the steps below:

• Press Windows + X.
• Choose Power Options.
• Select Choose when to turn off the display.
• Open Change advanced power settings.
• Expand USB settings and USB selective suspend setting.
• Select Enabled (default) or Disabled.
• Click Apply, then OK.

Application showing Suspended

Hi All,

There are few application showing suspended in my window 10. For eg Edge, Cortana, Windows Shell Experience Host etc.
