Windows 10: Self-Deploying mode for loaner laptops with auto login to local accoun

I am testing Self-Deploying mode for our loaner laptops. I was able to create a local user using this guide https://www.inthecloud247.com/create-a-local-user-account-on-windows-10-with-microsoft-intune/What need is to have this local account to login automatically. I tried running a PowerShell script via inTune. https://get-cmd.com/?p=4679But the device is still asking for a user login. Please help.

Password not accepted in Safe mode

Thank you for posting your query on Microsoft Community forum.

Have you tried all the above steps suggested by Sangeeta Sarkar on September 13, 2015.

I would suggest you to provide some information to help you better.

• Are you trying to login the Microsoft account or the Local account in safe mode?
• Did you try with only safe mode or safe mode with networking?
• What is the critical error you are getting?

If you are using Windows 10. To go to safe mode you have to follow the below steps.

If you are able to go to login screen in normal mode try the below steps to go to safe mode with networking.

• 
  At the login screen click on the power symbol.
  
• 
  Hold SHIFT + Click Restart.
  
• 
  After restarting your system, select the Troubleshoot option.
  
• 
  Select advanced options under
  Troubleshoot screen.
  
• 
  Click on Startup Settings.
  
• 
  Click Restart and follow the onscreen steps to go to
  Safe Mode with networking and check if you are able to login.

Loaner PC

Need to return Loaner Win 10 PC. The only login is my Administrator account. Can I remove my Admin account?

 

Turn off auto-login?

To stop the automatic log-in, please follow the
auto-login to windows steps listed here, except when you get to the point to automatically login, check the box instead. That'll turn it off.

If you want to remove the extra account, you can also do that using the same steps (just click the "remove" button).

And finally, if you want to go back to Windows 8.1, get the Windows 8.1 install files

here.

PS. You cannot ever delete the account with the actual name of "administrator" or you will ruin your computer.
