  1. Semi Random Restarts (detailed)

This isnt short but I tried. Ive spent the better part of the last month even extending back before an upgrade about 5 months, oddly suspended the issue until about a month ago. I've tried about everything i can think of.

    Issue:
Random restarts, pc powers down then restarts.

Using something graphically intensive seems to provoke the issue. using 3dmark bench testing program or a game. the odd part is it has happened when browsing google a few times as well.

PC will crash then immediately restart, will sometimes cycle on/off multiple times before reaching log in screen occasionally crashing at/during/immediately after launch.

    Description:
When the issue first started some months ago it seemed my hdd was corrupt, or at least on its way out. Hard hangs, followed by eventual restarts. I purchased a new 250gb ssd, as well as doubling my ram to 16gb (new stick was exact same as first), adding 2 case fans, and a copy of windows 10. Stab in the dark, but tried to take care of the usual suspects: bad hdd, not enough system memory for intense gaming, overheating and a windows refresh.

With upgrades installed, I windows 10 on my new ssd, and the old hard drive was completely formatted, the issues seemed to stop for a month or two, other than a single crash during the original install of windows.

Last month i had a occasional crash with increasing frequency.

Now its to the point where I can sometimes get hours of gaming(4+), sometimes my pc crashes as soon as i load something graphically demanding, sometimes it reboots on startup.

    Steps Taken:
    1)Formatted SSD HDD
    Reinstalled Windows
    Installed latest Drivers
    -Issue persists
    2)Disconnected Slave(old) HDD
    -issue persists
3)Ran Windows ram test (shortest test available)Semi Random Restarts (detailed) :pass
Removed oldest ram, placed new stick in slot one
    -issue persists
4)Intel CPU test programSemi Random Restarts (detailed) :pass
    -issue persists
5)Removed case reset button from Mobo
    -you guessed it, issue persists
6)Removed case power button from Mobo
    jumped with screwdriver
    -Issue persists
7)Disconnected case fans (checking if i was drawing too much power)
    -ya same thing

The really interesting one is the GPU. I cannot get my system to recognize my built in graphics. I set my BIOS to disable deep sleep, disable sleep, enable internal graphics. It still does not show up in display adapters. I may be mistaken but i think the I5-3350p is a processor without a built in GPU. [EDIT:3350p has no GPU]So.....

    8)Upgraded GPU gtx650ti to gtx660ti
    -annoying huh?
9)disabled any form of sleep mode i could find in BIOS or Windows
    -mhmm

This leaves the psu or mobo. I dont own any backup units so I need to make sure its not a software issue before I invest more. So I decided to come here.

I do get a few event errors Here are some(after i tried to change to write dump files) i dont think impact it but im not sure:
Configuring the Page file for crash dump failed. Make sure there is a page file on the boot partition and that is large enough to contain all physical memory.

The Sync Host_Session2 service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 1 time(s). The following corrective action will be taken in 10000 milliseconds: Restart the service.

Here are some I think are related:

The previous system shutdown at 8:19:35 PM on ‎11/‎24/‎2015 was unexpected.

The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly.

Session "ReadyBoot" stopped due to the following error: 0xC0000188

Configuring the Page file for crash dump failed. Make sure there is a page file on the boot partition and that is large enough to contain all physical memory.

So unfortunately, my pc has been set to overwrite my dump files, but the log i do have is included in the file. I can't thank you enough for your help!!

    :)

  2. N95 semi-random resetting itself

    Hi media_dk

I would suggest that you backup any essential data and then reset your N95 by keying in *#7370# on standby screen. This restores factory settings so that it is just like it came out of the box.Semi Random Restarts (detailed) :(

    N95 semi-random resetting itself

Do you know which code it asks for when having keyed in the "*#7270#" ?

I know this is an old thread but did this work for you? I've been having Readyboot errors with my PC automatically resetting (hard restart) every week or so for about a month, hasn't happened since I followed the solution on that article.
