Hello again r/windows10, i didn’t think I’d be back so soon seeking assistance!

So minor update to my last question about my wi-fi card...I now think it’s intermittent functioning was a indication of something much more serious.

Last night, the card again disabled itself. Slightly irritating, made plans to buy a new card today.

A buddy of mine suggested that I try a System Restore, which I did to the earliest point available (11/30, an automatically generated restore point)

On restart though, then the infamous BSOD. Error message: CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED.

When the computer rebooted itself, it activated some automatic repair process, which in reality can’t do anything. I just attempted to use it to reinstall Windows, and it came back stating unable to do so either from a cloud source or local file.

If I restart the computer from this prompt, I end up with the same BSOD. Rinse and repeat.

So at this point, I’m considering the computer a loss.

Being the computer-illiterate and life-illiterate person I am, I pay a monthly subscription fee to a certain competing company (they might as well open up a fruit stand) for cloud storage services...except I never backed up anything to that cloud space, outside the automatic backups from said fruit stand’s smartphone and tablet (that I’m using as my “computer” for the moment).

What can I do to at least get into my computer so I can move essential files to that cloud drive, a USB or external HD?
