    "SENDER NAME" and "SUBJECT" are missing from incoming faxes in Window's FAX and SCAN...


    This issue has been hanging in the internet ever since Win 10 was upgraded from Win 7. I still cannot find any solution in the net. Any update or solution?

    After my latest Windows Update, "SENDER NAME" and "SUBJECT" are missing from incoming faxes in Window's FAX and SCAN (Windows 10, 64 bit)

    As my header says, after my last Windows update, my incoming faxes in Windows Fax and Scan are not showing SENDER NAME and SUBJECT any longer when I look at the
    list of incoming faxes in Windows Fax and Scan. Uninstalled the updates to no avail. I find other people have this problem but I don't see any solutions anywhere. Please note, this is NOT a column problem, i.e., the SENDER NAME and SUBJECT
    columns are there. I'm using Windows 10, 64 bit with a new Alienware desktop.

    Help.

    Sender Name, Subject and Caller ID info not shown (blanked) in INBOX on Wins 10 Fax and Scan

    When receiving fax, the sender name is shown on the Fax Status Monitor. Yet after the fax is received, the Sender Name and Subject and Caller ID columns showed nothing (blank). I have googled the internet for any solution, but none fixed the problem. There
    is nothing wrong with my modem and driver. It sends and receives FAX ok. I have tried three different computers with Wins 10 installed, they all have the Sender Name....etc. missing. If my memory still serves me right, the Sender Name..etc. were there in Wins
    XP. However after upgraded to Wins 7 and then Wins 10, these info disappeared.

    Anyone also have this problem? Appreciate anyone can help!!

    Let’s isolate your concern that you’re having with Windows Fax and Scan, we suggest that you
    perform a clean boot. This troubleshooting technique will help us determine if there are other applications that may cause the issue. Please click
    here for the steps.

    Once you’re in the clean boot environment, try to use Windows Fax and Scan. Then, check if you’ll get the same behavior when receiving incoming faxes.

    Note: After the troubleshooting, refer to this section: “How to reset the computer to start normally after clean boot troubleshooting” on the same support
    article     to boot the computer in normal setup once the issue has been resolved.

    Let us know the outcome after performing the steps.
