    Sendto function in Windows 10 - Mail- Outlook- Thunderbird


    With a new Acer Aspire E 15 and Windows 10, the Sendto function would only default to Outlook. Messages would not send unless Outlook was open. Could not get the sendto option to use Mail10. Therefore installed Thunderbird. Works perfectly. Right click sendto, fill in details, sends perfectly.

    Right click send to mail recipient not working

    I don't have outlook or MS Office on my windows 10, I use Thunderbird and prefer to continue doing so. It has been and is set as the default. Sendto stopped working.

    E-mail Archive Problem on Mail at Windows 10

    There is no archiving function in the Windows 10 Mail app.

    The Windows 10 Mail app is a quite basic mail client - if you need more functionality then you'll have to use Outlook from the Office suite, or Windows Live Mail, or Mozilla Thunderbird.

    Hi, Sendto won't work with a universal app 'cos those aren't exe's and don't take parameters.
