Windows 10: Senheiser PXC550 not working on Windows 11 as headset

I've used Senheiser PXC-550 for over 2 years on Windows 10 and ran into few problems.Now, with Windows 11, it seems the OS is recognizing PXC 550 as a 'single' device, which means, it no longer separates the STEREO and the MONO headset versions.This is big trouble, because Windows no longer recognizes the microphone when I try to make a call using Microsoft Teams or any other app that requires microphone + audio.My previous understand is that Bluetooth can handle Stereo no mic or Mono with mic. So if Windows 11 never let go of my PXC550 from Stereo, the microphone never works.Some system

I know you say you're not that guy, but stepping into the $250+ range really brings a change in build quality that might have you never having to buy another set. Otherwise, getting 6 speakers with decent sound in a headset is hard, and that's what you are asking for, and I have no suggestions, but just a bump up the list. *Stick Out Tongue

 

Windows 10 not recognizing Sennheiser PXC550 as an audio device

My new windows 10 machine is not recognizing Sennheiser PXC550 wireless headphones as an audio device. Instead, it is listed as 'Other' devices after pairing. Once paired, I do not see an option to connect. Could you please help? This headphone works well
my with my other windows laptop and mobile phone.

We need to know if the issue is with the computer or headset. To isolate the concern, provide us the following information:

• Are you using a laptop or a desktop?
• If you're using a laptop, does the built-in speaker works?
• Are you using a USB headset or does your headset has a 3.5mm jack?
• Do your headset works on other devices?
• Have you tried using other headsets on your computer?
