Windows 10: Sentinel USB Dongle License not working

I’ve recently purchased a new Surface 7 laptop with a Snapdragon X 12-core processor, which I intend to use primarily for work.After installing my software and connecting the USB license dongle, I’m receiving an error message stating: “Dongle Not Found.”I’ve tested the dongle on my older Intel-based Surface, where it continues to work without any issues.After some research, it appears there may be compatibility issues between the dongle and ARM-based processors like Snapdragon.Any advise on the best solution to get the dongle working on this new device or workarounds or info would be appreciat

How to share USB License Dongle over network?

Yes the license is on the USB Dongle and it is a business environment.

[Side Note: We use several other programs/softwares that require licenses, and all the computers are linked to a main computer with the other licenses on them and that is how we access the other licenses for our other programs.]

This USB Dongle/license is for a new software, and is the first time we have worked with a USB Dongle/license.

I understand that we can only have 1 active user at a time, but it is very annoying having to physically pass the USB back and forth, when we are in different rooms/stations.

How to share USB License Dongle over network?

How do you share a USB License/Security Dongle, over a network?

So that PC-1 has a Security USB Dongle (License) connected to it and I would like PC-2, PC-3, PC-4, to all be able to access the license on the Dongle that is connected to PC-1.

The dongle only includes 1 license, but I'm hoping that by connecting them all to the same network and sharing folder, we don't have to keep passing the USB Dongle back and forth.

Hi All,

I unfortunately installed KB5017859 and now have an issue that prevents a business critical software package from accessing a USB dongle based licence (SafeNet Sentinel). The dongle uses Sentinel Protection Installer for access. I have updated this to the latest version I can find (Sentinel Protection Installer 7.6.9) but my software still cannot access the USB licence dongle and freezes at the start stage.

Any help would be most appreciated.
