  1. Separate wallpapers for virtual desktops?

I know there's a way to set up different wallpapers for multiple physical monitors, but I was wondering if there was a way to do that with virtual ones, too. I've tried going to the specific desktop and changing it, but it ends up applying to all of them anyway. I have a normal pic and a ~spicy~ one that I want to put on a separate window so it isn't in view at all times. Is this at all possible or is my only option to manually switch between the two on one desktop?

  2. A separate wallpaper for each virtual desktop in Windows 10

Is it possible that in future Windows updates, developers add such feature as the ability to install a separate wallpaper for each virtual desktop?

I think this would be a useful property that helps to divide virtual desktops into categories and at the same time helps quickly navigate - which desktop I'm currently in.

  3. virtual desktops programs shortcuts

2 - No, all desktops share the same files and wallpaper... What was a huge disappointment... Looks like virtual desktop is just to separate a bunch of opened windows.

  4. Separate wallpapers for virtual desktops?

    Desktop wallpaper for new users

    Hi Alaa,

Setting default users lets you specify the wallpaper on user's desktops and prevents other users from changing the image or its presentation. You can check these steps on how to set wallpapers from all users:

    • Type run on the search bar and press Enter.
    • On the window, type gpedit.msc and click OK.
    • Locate and click Administrative Templates.
    • Select Desktop > Desktop > Desktop Wallpaper.
    • Tick Enabled, and name your wallpaper.
    • Select Apply and click OK.

After performing the steps above, you may restart your PC.

Let us know the outcome. We will be glad to assist you.
