Windows 10: Seperate system and user data, And can easily access with a new computer

I feels Windows 10 is easy to have some problems and most effective way is reinstall the whole system, So, I am wondering that could I separate user data and programs data with the system? Like, store the users folder in another drive, and then when i reinstalled a new system or switch to a new computer i just need to plug in the drive and access those user data then i can get my desktop, documents...every user data back to the new system.


There two important point in my request:

1 I want store or back up all files of users folder and can easily access with other new system or computer that can get or restore my desktop, document, and Appdata ... , even better i hope just like insert an user in a computer, like I plug in the drive with my user data to another computer, then there is an new user in the computer with all my user data. Even need account, password to sign in will be perfect.


2 program data, it is not easy to separate program with windows system, but i still want to ask is there a good way to separate or back up program or program data?


I see there is several ways:

1 use mklink or set in the settings, but i am not sure it can separate all files in user folder? and How to restore when I reinstalled system or change to another computer.


2 when i installing windows10 use control + shift + F3 to set default folder address https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/troubleshoot/windows-server/user-profiles-and-logon/relocation-of-users-and-programdata-directories . For this one, I also don't know how to restore those data, do i need to set again when I reinstalling system? Will the old data fit in the new system rather than create new user folder? will it affect system upgrade?


3 use Dism back up system, but how to configure exclusive list for the least system file i do not want back up problems in the system and bring to the new system and can easily restore to new system?

System Restore does NOT affect user data. If I was in your position I would take these steps:

1. Install System Restore Explorer. It lets you access user data that
   IS actually contained in restore points but does not get restored by the restore mechanism.

2. Treat this event as an incentive to set up a robust backup scheme. Important data must at all times be stored on at least two independent media.

 

Edge Search Does Not Permit Change of Region

Thank you for posting the query on Microsoft Community. I am glad to assist you on this.
We have reproduce the issue here and we are able to access non-regional search for google using Microsoft Edge.
I would suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.
Step 1:
Clear browsing data option of Microsoft Edge and check if you face the issue. To do so perform the steps below.

1. Click on the More actions icon next to the feedback icon present on top right corner of the Project Spartan homepage.
2. Select Settings and click on Choose what to clear.
3. Check the boxes Browsing history, Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files and click on Clear.

Step 2:
I suggest you to create a new user account and check if the issue occurs.

1. Go to Settings.
2. Choose Accounts and then select Family and other users.
3. Select add someone else on this PC.
4. Enter a user name and hit next.
5. Click on Finish.
6. Sign out from the current Account and Log into the new account.

Step 3:
It could also happen because of network issue. I suggest you to try with different network connection and check if it helps.

 

Help! Data partition not showing under my computer

This is happening on a windows 2000 server. Our second partition of the system, for data is not showing under my computer. Here are the properties of it in disk management:





Now under logical drives its listed as F and shows free space available.

Suggestions on how to fix this?
