Windows 10: Serious error with upgrade from Windows 11 21H2 to Windows 11 22H2

I'm trying to upgrade Windows 11 21H2 to Windows 11 22H2 via the iso file. I cannot do any clean installs because the data on the machine is necessary. The install goes fine and the preboot upgrade works fine until it reaches 63%. From there, it immediately does an awkward jump to 73% and then 3 seconds later reboots out of the blue. Upon reboot, I get a screen saying "Undoing changes made to your computer...". I know for a fact that it is not a faulty ISO because I have tried an in-place upgrade to the same version with the Windows 11 21H2 ISO and that worked previously with a Windows 10 to 1

Windows 11 - can i download 21H2 and install to 22H2

Hi. I had Windows 11 22H2 updated from 21H2. But i was unable to uninstall 22H2. GO BACK button in recovery was greyed. So i made full recovery and clean reinstall Windows 11. Now i have again Windows 11 22H2. And i cant uninstall 22H2 to get 21H2.

Can i somewhere download 21H2 standalone update and overwrite it to 22H2?thx

Is it possible to upgrade to Windows 11 21H2 from a Windows 10 22H2 build? We have ran in to some issues with Windows 11 22H2 on our network, but Windows 11 21H2 works perfectly.

Hi - my Dell XPS 15 7590 originally came with Windows 10 but I upgraded to Windows 11 without problems. Now running Windows 11 21H2 OS Build 22000.1098

Windows update is not offering me Windows 11 22H2 to download/install.

My Windows Registry does not seem to have any reference to '"DestBuildNum, UpEx, UpExU, and RedReason" keys.

Is there some incompatibility with my system that is stopping Windows Update from offering me 22H2?

I'm also registered for Windows Insider and that does offer me an Insider version of 22H2.
