    Serious question: How do I get rid of Antimalware Service Executable garbage


    My computer become completely unusable for several minutes every 15-20 minutes when the scan kicks in. I have tried everything to get it of it and havent been able to . I would like a full refund from Microsoft on this computer which is essentially worthless due to this feature.

    Antimalware Service Executable

    Hello,

    Currently I'm facing a problem with the antimalware service executable. It uses half of my memory, I did tried some solutions such as: Change Windows Defender’s schedule and Add Antimalware Service Executable to Windows Defender exclusion list. However, none of these solutions has yet fixed my issue. Any help is appreciated.

    Should I install another antivirus program?
