    Hello i don't know from where to start but i will try to be as clear about what i did as possible
    28/08/19 i was using my camera in my streaming app just fine

    29/08/19 i bought an ssd and i installed it and used it only for a specific 2 games, while keeping everything on my HDD

    my settings in bios sata mode is achi and uefi... everything worked fine

    i haven't streamed since then so i didn't used my camera since

    today in the morning (03/09/2019) i turned on the streaming app and the webcam wasn't turning on..
    so i tried opening it from it's own app and it said "your webcam maybe used by another device"
    i opened up the webcam from the windows app and is the only place that not only works but works perfectly too....
    after that i tried everything i could think off and also many more i found online even the reg-edit command in 2 places...
    i already uninstalled both application and drivers 3 times and tried going to older one and to the same one...
    i already turned off everything in the windows antivirus even the firewall
    i already made sure all permissions on webcam are allowed i even checked in the app if the parental control was on and it wasn't
    i don't understand why the camera app doesn't stop having exclusive control even though closed... also i forgot to set that the background apps are closed

    any tips guys ????? Am tired serious windows issues locks my camera and only accessible in windows camera app :(

    IP camera issue with wireless Access Point

    well I connected the second router as you said, indeed it stayed on the same subnet, but wouldn't give ip address to the camera, not in router or in AP mode.
    However, I managed to solve the problem even with 2 subnets.
    On the primary router, I port forwaded port 80 to the ip address of the secondary router.
    On the secondary router, I port forwaded port 80 to the ip address of the ip camera.

    Now I can access the ip camera from the mobile app AND from any pc/browser externally.

    We see that you are still having issues with your Camera app having an error code 0xA00F4271 even if you have tried the troubleshooting steps from the link provided above. Can you check your camera privacy settings to see if camera access is turned on? To
    check the camera privacy settings, kindly follow the steps below:

    • Click Start.
    • Click Settings.
    • In search box in upper right, type webcam.
    • Click Camera privacy settings.
    • Check that Let apps use my camera toggle is On.

    If it is on, we suggest that you follow the troubleshooting steps on this

    What is the make and model of the camera?

    I would suggest you to make sure the camera is installed properly and listed under Device Manager.

    Follow these steps:

    • Press “Windows key + X” from keyboard.
    • Select “Device Manager” option from the list.
    • Check if the Camera is listed in the devices list.
    If it is not listed then the Camera driver is not installed. I would suggest you to run “Hardware and Devices” troubleshooter to diagnose and fix the issue.

    If the camera is listed in the device manager, then perform the following troubleshooting methods:

    Method 1:

    You may try running the Hardware and Device troubleshooter and check if it helps.

    a. Press Windows Key +R, type Control Panel.

    b. Type troubleshooting in the search bar, click on troubleshooting.

    c. Click on Hardware and Sound, click on Hardware and Devices.

    d. Follow the steps from the wizard to run the troubleshooter.

    Method 2:

    If that doesn’t work, then I would suggest you to perform troubleshooting steps from the link “What
    to do if you have problems with an app
    ” to diagnose and fix if the issue is with Camera app.

    Method 3:

    If this doesn’t fix the issue, I would suggest you to uninstall the camera from Device Manager then reinstall it and then check if this fixes the issue.

    Follow these steps:

    • Press “Windows key + X” from the keyboard.
    • Select “Device Manager” option.
    • Search for Camera, then right click and select “Uninstall”.
    • Then restart the computer.
    • Download the latest driver from the Manufacturer’s website and install it.
