Windows 10: Server operating systems showing Windows 10 update hints with December updates

Hi Community,i am a bit confused, we have several VMs running Windows Server 2016 / 2019 DC and standard which are showing a Win10 update hint. It started with the approval of the December updates on the WSUS Server.Till now we have 7 affected VMs with Server OS, on the other 224 VMs with Server OS we don´t get this notifiaction- same WSUS- same GPO ruleset- same networksI´ve also checkd the dedicated OS Version and compared it with the VMs without this behavior, they are equal because we use the same VMware template for deployment. Is this just a display error or does anybody has a hint wh

Well just noticed a pretty large one pop up coming in at 914MB, seems it makes some pretty serous updates.

Win 10 Anniversary Update does not show in Windows Update

Windows also updates 7, 8, and 8.1 to include the same data-gathering microcode, so your privacy on those systems is also compromised, but with no way to easily block it (Windows 10 has comprehensive settings for privacy options). You could have Windows Update turned off permanently, but that leaves you open to malware attacks as new vulnerabilities are exploited. So enjoy your paid-for Windows 7 OS as it sends every keystroke to Windows...

 

Win 10 Anniversary Update does not show in Windows Update

It's quite a big download, could be that they are putting it out in chunks to even out the stress on update servers. Manual upgrade always works if you download the ISO like said above. Still got a laptop that didn't get the anniversary upgrade yet aswell. Build 1511 seems to be getting all the security updates aswell still so no hurry with it really if you don't need the new features.
