I also read that SSTP either needs to be 'activated' or started by the user or an applicati

  3. (1) Remote Access Connection Manager 此服务故障无法启动 & (2) Secure Socket Tunneling Protocol Service 启动此服务失败

    Dear Microsoft Engineers:

For the past whole year, I cannot use Norton's VPN function due to technical problems relating to Microsoft Windows listed below:

    (1) Remote Access Connection Manager 此服务故障 法启动

    (2) Secure Socket Tunneling Protocol Service 启动此服务失败

I have contacted Mr. Bruce Ma who tried to fix these problems via on-line connection back in Dec 17, 2021. (Case No#1032752869)

These problems, however, still remain. Following Bruce's previous advice, please find attached screenshot images provided by Norton's technicians. Please review and advise how to have these problems resolved. Please contact me at *** Email address is removed for privacy *** if needed.

    Thanks & Regards,

  4. Service Host: Secure Socket Tunneling Protocol in Task Manager- What is This Exactly?

Deleting Service Host: Local Service Processes on Task Manager

I've recently come across a solution to better improve the performance of my laptop which was unding tasks for the Service Host: Local Service. I saw multiple Service Host: Local Services, and decided to end all of its tasks. All of a sudden, my laptop
turned off. I thought I screwed up the files, but my laptop only lost power. Although ending the Service Host tasks didn't affect my computer in any way, is there a posibility that ending all of the tasks on Task Manager will affect the entire computer?
