Windows 10: Services.exe spawned by explorer.exe

Hi CommunityOccasionally I observed services.exe spawned by explorer.exe without any parameters during login. Example process tree: wininit.exe-> explorer.exe -> services.exe May I check does any one experience it before? What will be the possible cause of such behavior. Thanks

some .exe files hang


In the last 48 hours, some .exe files do not execute. If started from explorer, explorer hangs. No error messages. These files run on another Win 10 machine. Nothing obvious in the event viewer. I note that *.exe file cannot be deleted when the system is in this state. I must reboot to regain access to the .exe file. sfc /scannnow shows no errors.

Any suggestions?

I changes .exe (Default) files data value, and now I can't open .exe files. Can anyone tell me the normal data value for .exe?
