    Services with a 5 digit Hex code affixed to them

    I understand that the Windows 10 OS is adding the suffix of a 5 digit hex code to the end of services as a "per user" thing but I am having an error in one of them and am not able to determine what is causing it or why. I have exhaustively searched online and nothing has been helpful to me. For one, a lot of people use tech jargon. I don't know what they even mean. So let me ask here and maybe someone can help me in very simple terms.

    This is in the event log corresponding to the error:

    The WpnUserService_8089f service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 1 times. The following corrective action will be taken in 10000 milliseconds: Restart the service.

    The box that pops up on the screen says there is a buffer overrun and that it can be used by malicious code... and that it occurred in "this application" but it does not say anywhere what "this application" is. Not in the pop nor in the event log. PID and ThreadID are not helpful because they seem could be wrong to point to WpnUserService_8089f itself still without any indication of what is actually causing the error.

    Other than that error, I have a continually repeating crash of the ASUS Com Service. Could that be the cause of the buffer overrun?

    :)

    What is the PrintWorkflow_<6-hex-digits> service in Windows 10?

    We were having an issue this evening deleting a print job with a printer that was connected to a printer server... we couldn't get rid of the job, and on the workstation when the job originated we started the PrintWorkflow_<6-hex-digits> and the print job went away.

    What is this service for? I've never seen it in Windows, and I believe it's something new in Windows 10.

  3. Why Lock code minimum of 5 digits?

    oh...

    That's strange.

    For at least two years I had a Nokia E51 that had the possibiliy of a 4-digit code. Since one of the latest firmware updates I has forced to change it to a 5-digit code. Two years ago.

    My college has the previous model phone. I'll ask him if that model also has a 5-digit code.

    Why Lock code minimum of 5 digits?

    @Casper_N97

    From time immemorial default Nokia lock code has been 12345 and does seem out of step with normal 4 digit PIN.
