Windows 10: Set up a Network Bridge and now my upload speed has decreased exponentially.

Basically, as the title says, I set up a network bridge to allow an ethernet running from my PC to my PlayStation 4 to have a wired connection, I also assigned a Static IP so that my PC can continue operating on the network as normal. However, after doing all this I've noticed the upload speed from my PC has dropped to almost non-existant, while my download speed has remained the same. Is there a solution to fix this while maintaining the bridge to the PS4 or if I will have to throw this solution out the proverbial Window(pun intended.)

Network bridge suddenly stopped working in windows 10

Hi Shantanu,

To isolate your concern, we would like to know how your network bridge is connected? Is it a wireless connection or a wired connection?

In the meantime, we suggest that you set up your network bridge to refresh the adapter and reconnect the other devices. To do this, follow the steps below:

• Add Incoming Connections from the Internet.
• Bridge the two network connections that you want to use.
• Forget the internal network connection (under
  Manage Known Networks).
• Reconnect to your bridge network.
• Restart your computer and check if your concern persists.

Download speed decreased to 0.2mbit (from 6mbit) after upgrade from Win8 to Win10

Hello,

im experiencing very strange problem because download speed after upgrade to Win10 has decreased. Upload speed is still about 20Mbit/sec. I tried following:

• multiple network devices- Primary is LAN adapter, secondary LTE phone. Altough the ping is different and upload speed on LTE phone network is slower, both network connections suffer from very low speed (0.2Mbit). And yes, I tried different pc and
  
• newest drivers installed
• dns cleared
• antivirus uninstalled, no malware found. No improvement in speed either
  
• p2p update redistribution disabled

Before reverting back to Windows81, do you have any suggestions?

 

Upload speed decreased tremendously

Hello community,

In Windows 7 I've had about 10+ Mbps of upload speed, but after upgrading to Windows 10, my upload speed decreased to around 300 Kbps. Every other computer, that isn't on Windows 10, in the house seems to get more than 10+ Mbps besides
mine. Would be really awesome if someone helped me get this fixed!
