Windows 10: Set up multiple monitors to my laptop. It detects one monitor but not the other. "No HDMI1...

I keep getting the error "No HDMI1 signal from your device".I am trying to connect 2 x DELL monitors to my DELL laptop using an adaptor HDMI one end and USB type C the other end. Only one monitor is being detected.I have updated my drivers, made sure everything is plugged in correctly.Has anyone else come across this?

Laptop not detecting external monitor

I'm using a laptop with an RTX 380.

I used an external monitor via Hdmi and it worked fine,

until I connected a USB webcam.

I was receiving a video via the camera app for about 5 seconds. After that, both monitors started flickering black and than the external monitor just wasn't detected anymore.

I Updated windows and reinstalled the Geforce driver multiple times without success.

The laptop is still not detecting any monitors via the Hdmi-port.

• Before you click the the detect button on Display settings, do you have multiple display option on
  extended?
• Can you lower down the resolution option and check if your external monitor will be detected by the laptop?

Tip: To change the projection settings, you can press and hold
Windows key button + P.

Dual monitor Detection Issues

• Is this the first time you're setting up your Windows 10 device with multiple displays?

Yes

• Which port are you using to connect the secondary monitors? Are you using a VGA or an HDMI cable?

I'm using HDMI cable

Also, I ran the troubleshooter for hardware and devices still did not detect my second monitor.
