Mother board has just been changed by dell Cannot set up new pin Can’t get past this screen

How to pin app shortcut to desk top?

I suggest you to follow below steps to change pin the apps on the desktop screen and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to perform the below steps to add the apps on desktop.

• Click on the “Start button” and locate the App that you want to pin to Desktop.
• Right click on the “App” and click on “More options”.
• Then click on “Open File location” and right click on the app, click on “Send to” option.
• Then select “Desktop (Create shortcut)”.
• Go to “Desktop” and check whether the app is located or not.

Or Step 2: To add shortcuts to the desktop

• Press and hold or right-click the desktop, tap or click New, and then tap or click Shortcut.
• Enter the location of the item or tap or click Browse to find the item in File Explorer.

Unable to set up PIN

Hello,

There are factors to consider should you encounter issues while setting up your PIN as a security measure in
Windows 10. One of the reasons is your account doesn't have administrator privileges. To better assist you, we need the answers to the following questions:

• Do you have multiple user accounts created on your computer?
• Did you check for updates to see if your version of Windows 10 is current?

In the meantime, we suggest that you follow the steps below to add a PIN to your account:

• Open the “Settings” app, and click/tap on the “Accounts” icon. Click/tap on “Sign-in options” on the left side, and click/tap on the “Add” button under “PIN” on the
  right side.
• If prompted to verify your account password, enter your local account password and click/tap on “OK."
• If you have a Microsoft account, then enter your
  Microsoft account password and click/tap on “Sign in”. After entering your password to confirm your identity, enter the numbers in a dialog box. The minimum length is
  four digits (0–9 only; no letters or special characters allowed), but your
  PIN can be as long as you want. If you need to check what you’ve set at this point then select the icon to the right side of the dialog box. This will briefly reveal the number you’ve entered.

Have PIN for Windows 10 but need Windows password
