Windows 10: Set video delay or lag when using bluetooth audio

When connecting my Surface Pro to my Tesla via bluetooth or to my Samsung Buds headphones, I have huge lag between audio and video.The question is: Is there a setting where I can apply the same lag on all off my video that I play on my Surface Pro?I am NOT looking for an explanation as to what causes this. I am also not looking for answers like updating the drivers etc. that lead to minimize the delay. I have used Google and noticed the responses are mostly the same: update your bluetooth drivers, apply this apply that...all aiming at minimizing the lag of the audio. I am looking for adding th

Video and audio lagging on Windows 10

I have tried every step that you suggested with no good results. I have a TOSHIBA SATELLITE L675D-S7049..

The exact problem is the video and the sound lags and makes a buzzing sound . it does it on all videos and sound. even on iTUNES

 

Bluetooth audio lag on windows 10...

I know I can't be the only one who experiences this because I have tried several different bluetooth headsets and speakers on multiple PC's, laptops, and even a surface pro 4. For music it's not big deal because you can't really realize the delay. However,
watching videos or playing a game it becomes extremely noticeable. Its generally a lag of about somewhere between 250-500ms as a rough estimate based on adjustments through VLC and Kodi. This seems to be the case for all devices on all systems. I even came
across an open source Bluetooth fix, which made it slightly closer, and have gone through tons of forums saying to turn off power management for the Bluetooth and disabling audio enhancements.... However, there's always a lag (had the same issue on windows
8). Also, when I use my android tablet or phone, there is no noticeable delay with any of these devices. If it helps, I've tried using powerbeats Bluetooth headphones (firmware up to date), some generic Bluetooth headphones, Amazon Echo, and Amazon Tap.
Each seem to have the same delay. I know I can adjust audio sync manually in programs like kodi or vlc, but I'm not looking for a "band-aid" fix. Especially since I primarily use Plex to stream my personal content (which does not have an audio sync setting).

This is clearly a windows issue since I have no delay when connecting to non windows devices. With all that said, does anyone have any other ideas or possible solutions to this issue?

 

Bluetooth audio lag after updating to Windows 10 2004

I've noticed that Windows 10 2004 update brought a downside regarding audio lag (sync issues between audio/video) when watching videos on Windows with any bluetooth audio device.

I have several bluetooth devices (audio/speakers/headphones), different high-end brands (bose, JBL, Sony...). I also have 3 high-end laptops with Intel latest technology network adapters (AX200 and AX1650). When Intel launched new drivers for them on May,
it was GREAT, I had never experienced ZERO LAG before with bluetooth. I was impressed, it felt like the sound was not with bluetooth but directly from laptop speakers. All my bluetooth devices were working amazingly fine with no lag at all!

But my joy didn't last long.... A few weeks later, I updated my Windows to 2004, and the lag appeared again. It's not such a big deal (it's 0.2s delay), but it's annoying when I compare to the perfect sync I had before. The issue happened to all of bluetooth
devices and all my laptops (even though Intel has already launched new drivers on July, it didn't change anything). So apparently the issue is with something that Microsoft has changed for the worse regarding bluetooth on version 2004, I have no idea what
that is.

I just hope Microsoft can do something to go back to the way it was set on Windows 1909 because it was awesome.

Obs: BTW, in all scenarios described above, I've tested different sources of videos (youtube, netflix app, local mp4 video failes, etc). The lag happens regardless of the source.

And nowadays most people watch a lot of videos on PC and most of the time with bluetooth phones/devices. So, I hope Microsoft prioritizes that fix.
