Windows 10: Set windows 11 to require a username and password to login

So to start there is no actual reason that I need my login set up this way. I just like it it's what I got used to in high school and college, and have used at several workplaces. So I currently have windows 11 set up so I must enter my username and password to login. I am using a local account. If I sign out everything is fine. But if I shut down or restart my PC without first logging out it always remembers my username on startup. It doesn't seem to matter what I set to enabled or disabled in local security policy it still remembers my username unless I signout prior to a shutdown or restart

Require Username & Password For Login

I just got a new laptop with Windows 10 Home edition. I'm a little bit of a power user and prefer to have separate accounts for different uses- one for gaming and entertainment, and one for more important things like banking, work, etc. For security reasons, on my previous laptop I had it set up so that instead of showing a list of users, it required that I sign in with both a username and password. I have tried and tried, but I cannot find any option for this on the new latop. How do I enable this? Also, on a side note, for some reason it isn't listing my gaming account on the list of users I can choose.

Oddly enough, that "Users must enter a username and password to use this computer" box was already checked. Just to be sure I unselected and reselected it, hit apply, and looked to see if it had changed anything. Unfortunately, it's still not requiring that I enter the username as well as password.

 

Remove the windows require username and password settings

Recently I've got a hardware problem, and the engineer that help me to fix my laptop re-seat my laptop before he change the hardware

After that I find out that I need to login with my microsoft account password, I didn't knew it is nessecary because before this my laptop doesn't require any pin when I start my laptop. I found a way (that is totally wrong for now) that require username
and password for login

After that I find out that there is two way to login my laptop...and I'm totally regret for it now.

The way I make it is Windows+R,then netplwiz.exe

I tick the "user must enter a username and password to use this computer"

PLZ help me fix it... it seems annoying

now I only want the microsoft users and remove this section
