    Win10/HP Pavillion - PIN "unavailable"

    Using Win10 on an HP Pavillion Gaming Laptop

    PIN went away. Now when I go into create a PIN I get "Something went wrong. Try again later". The step prior is: Start.>Settings>Accounts>Sign in Options>Windows Hello PIN and it reads "This options is currently unavailable - click to learn more". I
    followed the steps suggested, but they don't work

    Suggestions?.

    HP Pavillion Laptop Windows 10 Power and Sleep Settings

    HP Pavillion Laptop Windows 10 Power and Sleep Settings: Sleep/Never but computer shuts down and I have to constantly sign back in.

    Where is there a "shut down" command imbedded that I can't see? How can I fix this? I want the computer to shut down
    only if I manually do it.

    I cannot disable the touchpad on my new HP Pavillion laptop

    I cannot disable the touchpad on my new HP Pavillion laptop using the settings function. I tried using Device Manager with no success. The user manual doesn't get into this.

    Any ideas?
