  1. Setting up some defaults - ELI5

I recently got my computer upgraded to Win11 and I'm now trying to set it back up in a way that works for me. How do I set it up so that the default location for things like downloads, documents, pictures, etc is an external hard drive? Please explain it to me like I'm an idiot because I've been trying to get it to work for me for the last half hour and I'm getting nowhere with it.I tried changing the file location in the folder properties but all it keeps doing is emptying the contents of whatever I'm trying to set up into the hard drive without a folder!

    :)

  2. Unable to set default browser

    • Does this issue happens while you try to set other browser as default too or is it specific to specific browser?

    Any browser.

Already did the steps you suggested. It's some kind of bug where it's impossible to set a default browser at all.

I heard elsewhere from one other user
that it seems to be a problem with upgrading to 10 on the SP3. Sounds very specifc.
