  1. Setting up Win10 Pro on a domain after upgrading from Win10 Home?

I bought a Dell laptop that had Win10 Home on it and I planned to set it up as a business laptop but I had to upgrade it to Pro inorder to connect it to a domain.

I set up a generic local account to upgrade it to Pro, but I am not quite sure how to change the account type to a work account to connect it to a domain.

Do I need to soft reset the laptop now that it has been upgraded and join it to a domain in the initial setup?

  2. Win10 Pro

Hi, I bought a Win10 upgrade license on my old laptop. At the time I had a lot of issues upgrading the OEM Win10 Home as the upgrade purchase didn;t come with a product key. After lots of phone calls with MS they eventually provided me with a product key
and the laptop was upgraded to Win10 Pro.

I now have a new laptop and still require the Pro functionality. Following the steps here (which also tells me my Win10 Pro upgrade license is transferrable):

How to Transfer your Windows 10 License to a New Computer

the OEMSetting up Win10 Pro on a domain after upgrading from Win10 Home? :DM Win10 Home didn't upgrade using the MediaCreationTool (it just offers to install Win10 Home), and the System > Upgrade and Settings > Activation upgrade function doesn't accept the product key I've purchased.

Any help would be appreciated - although useful Win10 is awful to upgrade and MS seem to have deprecatated a lot of their contact options.

Setting up Win10 Pro on a domain after upgrading from Win10 Home?

    win10 gpo on 2k3sever domain

Hello to everybody. I am new with win10. I manage a network that includes 2k3server as domain and several xp users. I configure xp users via group policy profile on the domain, so every user loads a
mandatoey profile upon restart. I have to upgrade the xp users to win10, but I need to configure them also via gp profile. How can I do this ? Any suggestion will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
