    Hey.

I just got my school computer after graduating school and got a list of instructions to follow. My computer got wiped as well. The instructions told me to load up my laptop and wait for the "Let's start with region" screen, but it never came up. these are the instructions:

    1. turn on computer and wait for machine to start up- it might take about 5-10 mins to go through the process

    2. on the first screen "Let's start with region", select Australia and then click yes

    3. Leave US keyboard selected and then click yes

    4. Skip adding a second keyboard layout.

    5. On the "Lets connect you to a network" skip for now on the bottom left

    6. Accept the License Agreement

    7. Choose username

    8. Choose password

    9. On the next few pages, you can make your own choices by reading about the items on the screen and choosing what your prefer

none of these things came up and I'm super confused. What do I do? Do I have to go back to school to get it wiped again?

    :)

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

List of software to use for overclocking and testing
    Examples:
Wattman (and how to find and use it, like an overview, including profiles)
Unigine Valley or Heaven (use this for quick testing while changing settings in Wattman and checking for stability / artifacts) ...just suggesting this
How to monitor cores / mem speeds and temps during testing (I've seen screen overlays, and others using GPUz)

    Step-by step overclocking in Wattman
    Fan speeds
    Power limit
    Temp limit
    Voltages
    Core speeds
    Memory speeds
