  1. Settings app is touch-unfriendly

It's ironic that the Settings app is so very cumbersome on a touch screen device. It isn't exactly an ergonomic or design award winner on a desktop computer, but using it on a portable device just highlights how bad it is.

The scroll bars are practically invisible on a touch screen and *don't appear* until you touch inside the window.

They do have the ability to become wider ie visible, but *only when you hover over them* which is not a touch screen event.

Why does this matter? If I'm looking at Settings on a small screen, and some of the Settings are off-screen, then I think we'd all expect to see SCROLL BARS. This is one of the most basic parts of the UI.

The actual settings icons don't have enough visual feedback when selected. On a touch screen, there is none. Because of the delay in responding to a tap, it would be so nice to have some visual feedback that the tap was registered.

It's another very basic feedback in a visual UI.

Oh, and is it just my system or does the Settings title bar just never get a colour regardless of any personalisation settings?

In summary, the 'look and feel' of the Settings app is in need of an overhaul.

    :)

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

Add the Touch Keyboard Icon to the Action Center

    Hi Doug,

Adding the touch keyboard on the items in Action Center is currently not available in Windows 10. However, you can change the settings to automatically show the touch keyboard when you use the device in tablet mode. If you'd like to do this, you can
    follow these steps:

    • Click on Start.
    • Open Settings.
    • Select Devices.
    • Go to Typing.
    • Under Touch keyboard settings, switch on Automatically show the touch keyboard in windowed apps when there’s no keyboard attached to your device.

If you want to provide a feedback or suggestion to Microsoft to have the touch keyboard available in Action Center, you can post it
    here.

Let us know if the suggestion above works for you.

    Keep us posted.
