Windows 10: Settings app not working, search bar not working, system just very slow

Hello. I just upgraded my new laptop ASUS Zephyrus ROG to win 11 and all I have encountered is despair. The settings app opens but does not open any tab just keeps loading forever until it just automatically closes with no message of what happened I cannot even go back to win 10 because of the settings app not opening. Anybody can give me some insight or at least a way to go roll back?My laptop is well above the minimum requirements for the OS and I did install it as it was prompted to me in windows update when I was checking for other updates after first setup as said, is a new laptopTh

Settings search not working and start bar not clicking setting options

After testing, I have figured out that (In indexed locations) if I have everything indexed apart from this: "C:\Users\MyUserName\AppData\Local\Packages\windows.immersivecontrolpanel_cw5n1h2txyewy\LocalState\I ndexed\Settings\en-GB"

Then setting search works however it is alittle slow (obviously because indexing is turned off), however after checking that option again and searching it just says "search results aren't quite ready yet". I have a laptop with a freshly installed WIn 10 on it (after a format) and the settings with indexing worked fine. So I have copied the folder contents of that laptop "C:\Users\MyUserName\AppData\Local\Packages\windows.immersivecontrolpanel_cw5n1h2txyewy\LocalState\I ndexed\Settings\en-GB" but it still does not work. It does seem to me like something is broken with indexing the settings but I have no idea what....





Any suggestions?

 

search does not work in task bar. DOES work in File Explorer

Task bar search does not work and I have tried all of the recommended steps. Had to recently reinstall Windows 10 64b (preserved personal data) and the search has not worked since.

Suggestions? Recommendations?

Let’s try simple troubleshooting steps and check if it helps. Try running System maintenance troubleshooter and indexing troubleshooter. Follow the below steps.

Step 1.

• 
  Press Windows + X keys on the keyboard and select Control Panel.
  
• 
  Type Troubleshooting on the search bar on the Control Panel.
  
• 
  Click on view all and click on
  System maintenance.
  
• 
  Click on Advanced on the System maintenance dialog box and click on Run as administrator (Enter the credentials if required).
  
• 
  Click on Next and follow onscreen instruction complete the Hardware and devices troubleshooter.
  

If the issue still persist try the below steps.

Step 2.

I would recommend you to run search and indexing troubleshooter and check if it helps.
