Windows 10: SETTINGS FLASH BUT CLOSES AFTER

Hello, my Settings flash for a few seconds then disappears. I looked it up and forums told me to run a SFC scan so I did but the results said 'Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them'. I checked the CBS and the following seem to be corrupted " CSI 000051a7 [SR] Could not reproject corrupted file \??\C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Models\\SBCModel.txt; source file in store is also corrupted". I do not know what to do next. Does anyone know how to fix this?

settings flashs and than closes

Just bought this laptop. Tried to open settings and it flash's on the screen than closes. Tried looking for links and answers. Everyone says they have the answer but no links that are worth a damn. So far Windows 10 has been a failure for me. Any suggestions?

 

"Update & security" tab on Settings flashes for a second, then closes.

I have the same issue. The Update and Security tab flashes and then closes. I tried the recommendation of running sfc/scannow in the command prompt and did get a message of corrupted files. The exact message was: "Windows Resource Protection found corrupt
files but was unable to fix some of them. Details are included in the CBS.Log windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.Log. For example C:Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. Note that logging is currently not supported in offline servicing scenarios." Help is appreciated. What next?

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
