Windows 10: Settings freezes after going to the system tab

Any other settings work fine but if i goes into a system tab it freezes and i must close it thru a task menager.

Windows 10 update freezing cd/dvd then whole system freezes

Hi Bill,

There could be a software that's causing the issue with your CD/DVD, after an update. A compatibility could also be the reason why the freezing is happening. We suggest that you perform a clean boot. It's to start Windows by using a minimal set of drivers
and startup programs. This also helps eliminate software conflict that occur when you install a program or an update. Follow these steps to do so:

• Click the Windows icon on your screen, then search for msconfig.
• Select System Configuration from the search results.
• On the Services tab
• Once done, click on Disable all.
• Go to Startup tab, click on Open Task Manager.
• Once the Task Manager is up, go to Startup tab.
• Click on each item, then click Disable.
• Close the Task Manager.
• On the Startup tab in System Configuration, click
  Apply then OK.

Restart your computer to save the changes. Once your computer restart, check if the issue persists. Once done observing, follow these steps to "Reset the computer to start normally after clean boot troubleshooting:

• Click the Windows icon on your screen, then search for msconfig.
• Select System Configuration from the search results.

• Go to Startup tab, click on Open Task Manager.
• Once the Task Manager is up, go to Startup tab.

System Specs - Tabs??

Many of us have multiple systems, I myself have 4. Some of us try to cram multiple specs into the single System Specs page available in the control panel. I think it would be cool if we could add tabs to our system specs like webpage tabs in our browsers. If someone has 3 computers, he could add 2 more tabs and list them out on a neat, separate page, somewhat like this bad mspaint representation:

 

Windows 10 freezes when About on System display menu bar is clicked

I recently upgraded a Surface Pro 3 from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 and I'm continuing to set up applications and sharing on the local network. When I go to Settings\System it opens on the Display tab at the top of the tab list. When I click the About tab
the System screen freezes. No other tab will open but I can close the System screen. However, the settings button in the start list no longer launches the Settings screen. Other tabs seem to work fine.
