Windows 10: Settings > Personalization > Start > Layout more pins feature missing

I want to have more pins instead of recommendations showing in my Windows 11 home menu.According to this article and many others, this is possible via the settings > personalization > start > adjust the layout to show more pins.https://www.makeuseof.com/windows-11-more-pinned-start-menu/However, this option is missing in my settings > personalization > start menu.I only have the following options:Show my recent added appsShow most used apps greyed outShow recently opened items in start, jump lists, and file explorerFoldershelp with startand two sub links to changing start me

Microsoft Edge - Features are missing!

• Open the Edge, then click on more options(...).
• Click on Send feedback.
• Follow the on-line instructions.

Missing Programs and Features in the START LIST windows 10

Hi Robert,

Replacing the motherboard may have triggered your settings to go back to default causing the Programs and Features to be removed from the Start menu list. You can put it back by following these steps:

1. Click Start and search for Control Panel.

3. Click Programs.

4. Right-click on Program and Features.

5. Choose Pin to Start.

PIN at start up

I suggest you to follow the below steps how to Change PIN password:

• In the search box, type settings.
• Then Click on accounts.
• Then on the left hand side click on sign in options.
• Then you can Select Change PIN password and remove the pin.
