Windows 10: setup PIN error- personal laptop - win 11

Hi, I had a PIN issue on my personal laptop so I have deleted Ngc folder items but then, when I wanted to setup a new PIN I got the below message. I don't have any organization account, just my university account which I never wanted to add that as of my laptop account. But occasionally I found that windows use that account as my primary account for sign-in. How can I avoid that? And right now I cannot even set a PIN for my laptop.

May I know the complete error code or error message that you are receiving when you try to setup Windows Hello?

Do you have any other user account on the computer?

If yes, does Windows Hello work on that account?

If Windows Hello is not setup on other account, please setup it up and check if it works so that we can narrow down the issue for you.

I suggest to remove the pin and setup a new pin on the child account and check if it works with Windows Hello.

Please follow the steps below to remove and re-add the PIN:

• Press Windows logo key + I to open Settings.
  
• Select Accounts.
  
• Click on Sign-in options.
  
• Under PIN, remove the pin. There will be prompt to enter password, enter the password and removed the PIN.
  
• After the pin is removed, please click on
  Add to setup pin for the account.
  
• After setting up a new PIN, try to set up Windows Hello.

Windows 11 install freezing at 'create pin'

Hi,

I have a new laptop and am running the windows 11 setup. At the 'creative a pin' step, the wizard simply stops working and continually displays a white screen with a spinning icon forever. Hitting AlT-Tab displays that there is a 2nd window hidden that appears to be the correct window I require to enter a pin, however when using tab to move the cursor to that window it still doesnt enlarge for me to use.

This appears to be a common enough error for there to be multiple helps requests online but I cant find anything to solve it for me. Some suggest disconnecting your internet connection during this step but when I do that the setup comes up with 'connection lost' and I have to repeat the steps to reconnect then am presented with the pin page again and the problem returns.

It is absolutely ridiculous that you cannot skip this stage of the setup. Please, please someone tell me there's a fix for this because I havent the time to spend hours solving this like it used too. 2 young kids taking up all my free time, I just need this process to work simply always advertised! Ha!
