Several different BSOD errors

So the furmark test also passed nicely.

Will wait to know the result of the Prime95 test.

2. I just tried to do CPU95 - CPU was running at core temp ~ 77-81 C for about an hour and 20 minutes before my system crashed. It wasn't a BSOD either, straight up stopped working (not able to use keyboard, mouse, display cut out etc). The results show everything tested fine while it was running.
I will admit I was running a 720 video in while it was testing, but I doubt that would be enough to put it over the edge

What should I do next?

The prime95 test itself puts a maximum stress on the CPU. A video play is enough to add on it.

Unfortunately we failed to determine which piece of hardware caused it, as both the CPU and graphics card was in action; whereas both of them are under suspect.

By the way, have you monitored the temps?

If you get time, try the Prime95 test for one more time, and monitor the core temps using HWInfo.

I did monitor with HWInfo, and I said in the post that my CPU core was ~ 77-81 C for about an hour and 20 minutes. Is that too high?

Around 80°C is not too high for more than one hour of Prime95 test. (Alt+0176 to type the ° sign. *Smile)

Overall, as far as you stated till now, it appears to me that the graphics card is causing the issue, but not continuously. It is failing occasionally and is not following a pattern or trend.

But I don't have adequate evidences to stand it.

Can you apply any other graphics there, just to test the situation? You may borrow one from the friends or family.
Or test the situation with Intel HD graphics.

6. I think I should be able to get a card. Do I need to uninstall the card's drivers first before installing the new card?

If I took a picture of the r9 390, would you be able to tell if there is any damage to the pins or the card in general?

That will not be very possible, mate. To check the pins, you need to see the reflection of light from the pins from various different angles. If any discrepancy is there, then you may find a pin is corrupt. Photographs are not enough to do it.

Same for the overall damage. If it is not physically broker, you will not find the damage there externally.

8. Several different BSOD errors

Maybe this last BSOD (from today) will answer the question. It was hardware corruption error, so hopefully i can figure out if its the gpu or not.

Code: BugCheck 12B, {ffffffffc00002c4, 34f, 26d01397460, ffffd000206f5000} Probably caused by : ntkrnlmp.exe ( nt!ST_STORE<SM_TRAITS>::StDmPageError+ec ) Followup: MachineOwner ---------
0x12B is always a hardware memory error.
Code: ******************************************************************************* * * * Bugcheck Analysis * * * ******************************************************************************* FAULTY_HARDWARE_CORRUPTED_PAGE (12b) This bugcheck indicates that a single bit error was found in this page. This is a hardware memory error. Arguments: Arg1: ffffffffc00002c4, virtual address mapping the corrupted page Arg2: 000000000000034f, physical page number Arg3: 0000026d01397460, zero Arg4: ffffd000206f5000, zero
I see that the RAM is running at the least speed and no error is coming up in RAM test.

I think it would be better for me to consult with my guru @essenbe at this stage.

Hello greenburrito, I've just briefly looked over this thread. If you will please download, if you don't have it already, CPUz https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/1...en-forums.html.

Also, please check the Manufacturer's web site and make sure your SSD firmware is current.

11. I updated the SSD firmware, and it doesn't seem to make a difference.

Attached are the screens of the respective sections of CPU-Z

You say updating the firmware doesn't make any difference, so I am assuming you are still having the BSOD problem. I would like to try 2 things. I am assuming your Dram Voltage is set to 1.20, if it is set lower, increase it to 1.20. If it is set to 1.20 try setting it to 1.25. Your ram timings are within specs, but leave everything like it is but change the CAS Latenct (CL) from 15 to 18 and see if that helps any.

I don't recall all that you have done, but please right click the start flag and select command prompt (Administrator) and paste this in the window and press enter. Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth Let it run. It should give you a success or an error message. It can take it some time to work, just let it run. See if any of that helps any.

13. Several different BSOD errors

Ok, so I found that doing all of the above has made it so that if a game crashes, it doesn't ALWAYS go into a BSOD, it crashes within Windows. However I just had another BSOD titled "CRITICAL PROCESS DIED". I just ran sfc.exe and it found no integrity issues with the core system files. I'm at a loss here, I may have to take this into a shop to do more testing.
