  2. issue within a folder with several files

I recently upgrading both of my computers to windows 10 from windows 8.1 and I see this issue on both machines.

when I'm in a folder with lots of files ( example music folder with 400 songs) and I scroll down through the folder looking at the files, without me doing anything the folder will automatically go back to
the top of the folder to the beginning of the files. Even if I only scroll down a little bit after about 5 seconds it will automatically shoot back to the top of the folder.

Another issue I found today I only have about 5 seconds to rename a folder. any longer then that and it will deselect the folder in which I'm trying to rename.

I have been searching for these issues in a lot of different places and have not found an answer yet. Any body see this?

  3. issue within a folder with several files

    Hello Travis,

Thank you for your interest in Windows 10.

To diagnose the issue, I would suggest you to try the following methods and check if the issue persists.

    Method 1:

Try to run a System File Checker (SFC) scan to check for any file corruption.
SFC scan will scan for corrupt system files on the computer and repair them.

    • Press Windows key + X, click Command Prompt (Admin).
    • In the Command Prompt, type the following command, and then press ENTER:

      sfc /scannow

If the issue still exists, try the next method.

    Method 2:

You may check the same issue with the new user account.

Try these steps to create a new user account and check if it fixes the issue. Refer to the steps below to create a new User Account:

    • Go to Settings.
    • Choose Accounts and then select Other User Accounts towards the left.
    • Select Add an Account.
    • Enter a user name and hit Next.
    • Click on Finish.
    • Sign out from the current Account and Log into the new account.
    • Check if issue persists.

Hope this information is helpful. Do let us know if you need any further assistance, we'll be glad to assist you.

Several Kernel Errors within a day?

    Hi NussOkeh,

Unfortunately the crashes your system had don't contain much, which is pretty usual with this specific BSOD (0x109(CRITICAL_STRUCTURE_CORRUPTION))

What USB devices do you have attached?

[/quote] I got my Razer Keyboard, a Corsair Mouse and a Razer headset. All USB
What was unusual for me was when I ran driver verifier I didn't get a self made BSOD

With driver verifier it mainly depends on the settings you choose for the part 'will driver verifier catch a driver?'.
If driver verifier didn't catch any driver then no driver is violating the chosen settings.

I went on the Driver Verifier fourm and followed the steps there. Where you checkmark all the drivers that are not from Windows.

Several Kernel Errors within a day?

I haven't much to go on with the dumps so I'm currently going through the error logs and there are some about Corsair.
Are there driver/software updates for your mouse?

I think there is, I'm currently installing the update

Diagnostics test? It is a data collection tool *Wink

Update the drivers/software of Trendnet, the network driver is the cause of the crash.
