Windows 10: Severe Browser Issues

I just installed Windows 10, and after about 2-3 hours of using a browser, tabs start crashing or half-loading constantly, the browser itself starts crashing constantly, and sometimes the entire screen goes black. This happens no matter the browser, and only restarting the entire computer will help. I've had the Task Manager open when it happens as well, and there are no spikes in CPU usage or memory when it happens.

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

Changing default browser to IE and wifi issues

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

• 
  In desktop search, type default app settings and select the result.
  
• 
  Under Web browser, click the current browser (EDGE).
  
• 
  Choose Internet Explorer and set it as
  default.
