Windows 10: Severe issues after windows 10 update

Yesterday i finished a windows 10 update by restarting my laptop . Straight away i noticed issues, i couldnt restart my laptop without getting a blue screen and error note , i started loseing connection to the internet again which had been going on a few months , but had become less frequent but today i noticed some screen issues , first flickering and streatching and then my screen crashed . Now when i turn on my laptop i cant make anything out ,and my mouse isnt preasent . Everything im reading online is saying things like “ go into settings” .... but i cant see anything on my screen . Im really not happy , this laptop cost alot of money , i cant believe an update has broke my laptop! Someone help me please !

It's basically what I mentioned above, small issues here and there ,but nothing to end your day.. for the most part.

I know it's anecdotal, but for my experience 95% of the time it's perfectly fine. The issues I've run into wouldn't be enough for me to roll back , but they would be enough (had I not installed it yet) ,to avoid it for another couple weeks which is why I'm suggesting it to the OP

Well, at the moment at least, you can choose to defer upgrades. Under Settings > Windows Updates > Advanced options you need to check the box labeled "Defer upgrades". What does that do? Good question. The answer I've found might illuminate it to a degree.

I hear this only applies to Pro and Enterprise editions. But I can't verify that.

 

Windows 10 download speed issues

Try this method:

• First of all from Start Menu, open Settings (Type settings in the search bar and it will appear).
• locate and select “Update and Security“.
• in this window, Locate “Advanced Options”. Click on it.
• In Advanced Options; Click on “Choose How Updates are Delivered“.
• Turn off Updates from more than one place.

Your system will not work as a seeder for other Windows 10 users. It will give sudden boast to your Slow internet speed.
