Windows 10: sfc scan run regularly finds errors

I run dism followed by a sfc /scannow several times a week and it finds errors pretty regularly. Is that supposed to happen? I'm on Windows 10 and I have the latest updates.

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention and for sharing with us the troubleshooting steps that you have performed to remedy this issue. Since this has started after installing the Anniversary update, we suggest that you run the System File Checker
tool to help us scan and replace any corrupted Windows System files.

To run System File Checker (SFC), follow the steps below:

• Right-click the Windows key and select Command Prompt (Admin).
• At the command prompt, type sfc /scannow (make sure to put a space between sfc and /).
• Do one of the following depending on the results of the scan:

> If SFC finds corrupted files and replaces them, restart your PC and check if the issue persists.

> If SFC doesn't find corrupted files or finds corrupted files but can't replace them, try using the

Deployment Image Service and Management Tool (DISM).

SFC scan and DISM restorehealth scan

1. After the sfc scan, restart

2. Run the restorehealth scan and restart after the scan is finished

3. Run the sfc scan again and it will say: no integrated violations found

Does those steps fix the Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them?

Step 1: I would like to inform that if you are not able to repair some files after performing SFC scan, I suggest you to refer to the point 3 “Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix
some of them. Details are included in the CBS.Log %WinDir%\Logs\CBS\CBS.log”. Under the section “Run the System File Checker tool (SFC.exe)” to repair the corrupted files after performing SFC scan.

Step 2: I suggest you to run DISM or System Update Readiness tool and check.

The DISM or System Update Readiness tool may help you to fix some Windows corruption errors.

Steps:

• Connect to the internet.
• Press Windows key and type updates.
• Click on Check for updates.
