Windows 10: SFC some corrupt files can not be fixed

Discus and support SFC some corrupt files can not be fixed in Windows 10 Performance & Maintenance to solve the problem; Funny how was not on disc i used before *Devil maybe...that's why you got problems??? Hmmmm Discussion in 'Windows 10 Performance & Maintenance' started by jds63, Nov 14, 2015.

    I got exactly the same problem and here's how I fixed it. Everything was done from desktop.
    1- Create a folder on desktop: mount
    2- Copy install.wim to desktop. (used the ISO downloaded from techbench)

    Make a folder with name Mount on desktop, place install.wim inside the folder ? Correct

    Open Admin Command prompt, copy/paste each line and run:

    • Dism /mount-wim /wimFile:%USERPROFILE%\Desktop\install.wim /index:1 /MountDir:%USERPROFILE%\Desktop\mount
    • Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth
    • Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source:%USERPROFILE%\Desktop\mount\windows /LimitAccess
    • Dism /unmount-wim /Mountdir:%USERPROFILE%\Desktop\mount /discard
    • re-run: sfc /scannow

    use your Win10_1511_English_64.iso and try a new install with that sucker......might work.

    Sorry, copy install.wim to desktop then after you running dism to mount it, everything will expand in mount

    Used this commands, N: being the mounted drive
    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /source:WIM:N:\Sources\Install.wim:1 /LimitAccess

    Then ran this command
    Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth

    This is the rest
