  1. SFC unable to fix some of Windows Files

Hello, I have a problem with my Windows 10, SOME of the USB Disks can't be Ejected by the Safely Removable Hardware icon in the taskbar, and there is no option to eject SOME of "USB Flash Drives".

SFC unable to fix some of Windows Files d6306cc2-442b-4954-afa1-7c4e0cf9bf07?upload=true.png

To solving the issue, I've uninstalled all "USB Composite" Drivers, "USB Root Hub" Drivers, and also Disabled, Restart Laptop, Enabled "Intel Host Controllers" Drives on the "Universal Serial Bus Controller" section of the Device Manager.

As well, I've run the sfc /scannow command to fix the corrupted system files; but, SFC can't fix all of the issues. "Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them."

I was trying SFC more than 3 times; also, I've run all DISM/~/CheckHealth, ScanHealth, and RestoreHealth, there isn't any chance to fix the problem.

I've run the sfc offline on the command prompt at the Advanced Options As well.

I've attached the CBS files here, and I would be appreciated if you can help me in which files are corrupted and need to be replaced manually, or help me to do a better trick to fix the corrupted files.

But, please DON'T recommend me to Reset Windows 10, or Install a fresh Windows 10 from Media Creation Tools or Windows 10 DVD; because, It's not the solution, and I don't have all of the installed drivers and essential software right now.

Best Regards, and have a nice day!

    :)

SFC Finds Corrupt Files but is Unable to Fix

When you get this error it means that the System File Check a.k.a. Windows Resource Protection simply could add/repair missing or corrupted files or other problems with these files.

If you get this error you should try the following a few times:
    • sfc/scannow
    • reboot
    • sfc/scannow
Only when after a few times sfc/scannow still hasn't solved it, then you could try DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth.

A reboot is necessary for sfc in order to try to fix the problems, it usually takes a few tries for sfc to solve the problems.

  3. Windows SFC unable to fix corrupt files.

Long Story Short: I had some issues with an application on Windows 7, (Error code 0xc0000005) and someone suggested me to reinstall my Windows or upgrade. (I was going to update to Windows 10 anyway so I thought this is a good reason.). Still, the error
persists. The same person told me to run a System File Check (SFC) via Command Prompt because some files might be damaged and SFC will attempt to repair them. Now I am here because SFC reported me "Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable
to fix some of them." How do I fix those files? The CBS.log is linked down below: CBS.log

    Thanks.
