Windows 10: Share phone's WiFi with a PC

    Share phone's WiFi with a PC


    I have an android phone (Samsung Galaxy Note 4) which is connected to a WiFi network. Can I share this network (e.g. via USB) to my Windows 10 PC? I cannot connect to the WiFi network directly on my laptop.

    You should be able to use internet sharing. The ability to do this is dependent on your carrier and your plan.

    Go to settings, internet sharing and turn it on. Internet sharing will create a WiFi key to enter on the PC WiFi adapter to make the connection.

    The phone creates a WiFi hotspot using phone data and the PC is connected to it.

    Okay, found a solution. It was simple.
    Settings>Tethering and Mobile hotspot>USB tethering.
