Windows 10: Share Point failures - shown in System Reliability but product not used

Since a One Drive update appeared on 25 Jan 2023 23.002.0102.0004 System Reliability shows a failure of Share Point once a day. I use One Drive through the web interface only not by any synchronized data and don't use Share Point at all or know anything of it. The faulting application is C:\Users\xxxx\AppData\Local\Microsoft\OneDrive \23.002.0102.0004\Microsoft.SharePoint.exe. I noticed that the time of the failures is the time that the scheduled task OneDrive Standalone Update Task-S-1-5-21-etc... runs. I have now disabled that task and the Share Point failures have stopped. Any idea

SharePoint seems to be the part of OneDrive that deal with Microsoft 365. If you don't use, care about, or ever want to use Microsoft 365 then its fine that you just broke that even more I suppose or at least as long as it doesn't create more issue lol

Technically, however, software throws a lot of errors even when its working correctly. A developer can throw an error for any reason at all even just for testing to make something stand out. Since you're not a software developer I feel the need to make you aware of that since you are spending time trying to make the Reliability History chart trend upward. On top of that of course, you're force disabling things, and things often don't like that.

 

Show off your system reliability

My reliability failures only list cases when I was testing a new overclock and apps or system crashed during the testing. Other than that, no incidents.
