  2. Shared experience account I cannot delete which keeps asking for a fix 2

This is the same title as a prior thread ("Shared experience account I cannot delete which keeps asking for a fix"). But, it was private and I can't see the answer. And, I need an answer.

Prior to July 2020, I had a shared experience on my personal microsoft PC with a microsoft account run by my employer. I had this "shared experience", mainly, to access my company email and their microsoft based applications (word, onedrive, ppt, one note,
etc..). However, last July 2020, I left that company and they have naturally deleted my account. On my end, I have deleted everything and anything I could find linked to the microsoft account from my former employer (currently, I am with a new employer who
also uses microsoft based services, which I currently have a shared account...).

The problem is that I keep getting notifiedto "Fix" my "shared experience". And when I click on that notification and then click on "fix now" (settings-->shared experiences-->accounts-->fix now button), I keep getting my former companies portal. Take note
that I no longer have an account to login, nor do I have the ability to contact the IT specialist from my old employer.

How do I take out my former employer's "shared experience" and all my former employer's connections? I have been told from my former colleges that I may need to wipe my computer, restore it, and start anew. I am trying to not to do this because I have settings
pretty customized. Is there a smoother and more straight forward way to "fix" my shared experience so that I am no longer linked to my old employer? How do I get it to stop pulling up my old employer's login page?

    help.

  3. DTG1 Win User
    Cannot access shared network drive

Personally, I wouldnt use Everyone. If anyone hacks into you, they have full access to everything and can demolish everything on your raid. I would rather set up accounts and access separately for each person. That way, I know who did all that damage. In the end with a little extra work, I feel more secure by using Authenticated Users.

    If this helps.
step 1 create non-microsoft account and without email and address without admin rights
step 2 share a drive or folder to specific user account (if Everyone is listed, remove it)
step 3 set security > add Authenticated Users (if more than 1 account) or add specific users
step 3a remove Everyone from list
step 3b uncheck full control and write for all items listed except SYSTEM and Admin account.
step 4 right click Start > Computer Management > System Tools > Shared Folders > Shares ... to verify settings and change anything else. You can also see the number of connections to each share here.

Shared Experiences - Work and School accounts need to be fixed

    Hi there,

I have looked at numerous threads on this topic and none of the fixes suggested has worked. Every now and then as in every second day when I flash up my computer and start working, I get the shared experiences error message about my Work and School accounts
needing fixing. So I click on the message and it brings me to the shared experience page see below image:

Shared experiences asking me to Fix now and issue with a work account I no longer have access 5a5881c5-2d6f-4b72-acd5-07501b78f0da?upload=true.jpg

I click on the Fix now button and a popup occurs asking me for my login credentials, which I put in and it looks like it is thinking for a few seconds. The same popup occurs asking me again to put my login credentials and nothing occurs other than another
popup asking the same thing. I have tried logging in to my web browser but my account has nothing interactive on it to help me resolve any problems. Yet the message keeps on popping up every second day I turn my computer. This is extremely annoying and
I if I don't catch my self following the white rabbit I end up going down the rabbit hole after him wasting my time trying to sort this issue out myself when I could be working or doing my uni work.

To answer any questions about what I have done:

Yes I am logged into my software

Yes I have the shared experiences turned on and I have turned it off to see if it makes a difference

My computer is up to date with software and rolling back software does not work.

Please fix this extremely annoying problem, I am a paying customer and expect better.
