Windows 10: SharePoint Group - Access Denied

I created an additional SharePoint Group in a site and added a user. I set the SP Group as Read at the site level, but Contribute in certain libraries. User is receiving Access Denied for site link. Intermittently the library links works. During investigation the group disappeared in the library permissions and needed to be re-added. I had created a SP group in a test site a week or so ago and all worked fine and the current site with the issue. Today the test group in the Test Site is still working, but if I create a new one just like I did a week or so ago, the user is getting Access Denied.

Quick Access Menu/SharePoint


From what I've seen online, it's not possible to rename a folder pinned to the Quick Access list without renaming the folder itself. This is posing a challenge for me with respect to setting up SharePoint libraries as "favorites," like I had in Windows 7, because of the way my company set up SharePoint.

Our IT Department told me to add a shortcut instead of a direct link, I'm not finding any info on how to do that. I tried creating a folder, pinning it, then adding a shortcut within that folder, but it doesn't show a list of files in the library, it's literally a shortcut to the library.

My questions are:
1. Has anybody successfully pinned SharePoint libraries to Quick Access and renamed in that list them without renaming them in SharePoint?

2. If not, is there a workaround?

LAPTOP is not accessible ..... Access is denied.

I am trying to share a folder on a LAPTOP. I have other a number of other systems that have folders Shared and they work fine, but with this one I get the error "LAPTOP is not accessible ..... Access is denied." when I try to access it from a different Win10 system. So I went thru the entire "How to Share Files and Folders Over a Network in Windows 10" tutorial step by step. File and Print Sharing is enabled, SMB1.0 client & server are running, and Everyone has Full Access to the Share. Still get the error. I have tried it with the Network Public and Private, with the same result. Any suggestions ? Microsoft Windows 10 Home Version 10.0.19042 Build 19042

 

Group Policy Failed to logon access is denied

Hello,

I have "Group policy failed to logon access is denied" issue when try to logon to windows.

I tried to logon through safemode but the issue is the same. I put password, "Group policy failed to logon access is denied".

I don't know how to fix this problem... I can't even get an access to windows...

Please help me...
