Windows 10: Sharing between Windows 8.1 and Windows 10

    Sharing between Windows 8.1 and Windows 10


    Never saw this before. I have 2 PCs running Windows 8.1 and a Laptop with Windows 10. I can share folders fine between one PC and the laptop but the other I cannot yet the laptop can see both PCs just fine. When I try to access the shared folders from one PC it will not let me even see the shared folders. It just says "you do not have the credentials to access xxxx laptop, contact your network administrator". The only difference I can see between the two PCs is that on the one that can access the laptop it lists my email account under my user name in User Accounts while on the PC that doesn't

    DTS supported natively by Windows 8/8.1 and it should work on windows 10 too just DDL require to unlock your driver .

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
