Windows 10: Sharing Tab missing in Wi-Fi Properties , on laptop Lenevo IdeaPad S145

Hello,


I am trying to access my Rasberry Pi 2 on my windows 10 laptop due to lack of 2nd Screen.


To do this , I need to share internet connection access to the devices which are connected in same network.


On my laptop there is no ethernet connection, only wifi is available.


I have seen that there is no sharing tab present in Wi-Fi properties , do you guys have any idea of it ?

Is there any way to bring back this sharing Tab in Wi-Fi properties display ?


Any pointers on this will be highly appreciated.

Trouble Changing Wi-Fi Password


I've been following the following steps to change my Wi-Fi password for some time:

1. Launch Control Panel.
2. Click "Network and Internet."
3. Click "Network and Sharing Center."
4. Click "Wi-Fi...."
5. Click "Wireless Properties."
6. Click the Security tab.
7. Check "Show characters."
8. Enter the password in "Network security key."

Those steps have been working just fine, but today I discovered a new wrinkle. If I change the password inside the router first, "Wi-Fi..." doesn't appear in step 4. This isn't much of a problem at home, because I can just change the password in Control Panel before I change it inside the router, but it would be a problem at a public hotspot, or something of that nature. I also tested Brink's instructions in "How to Connect To a Wireless Network in Windows 10," but they don't work for me either. How can I fix this?

 

Sharing tab missing in Folder Properties on Windows 10

When right clicking on any folder and selecting properties, the tab "Sharing" is missing.

Things I have tried:

• Checking "Use Sharing Wizard (Recommended)" in Folder Options
• Enabling Network discovery and Sharing in Network settings
• Clicking Share at the top and selecting "Advanced Sharing Options"

None of these have worked.

 

Windows 10 HP Laptop WI-FI problem

Go to Device manager, right click Wi-Fi in Network adapters, select Properties, click Power management tab, untick "Allow the computer to switch off...." and reboot. HTH.
