Sharing Windows store games with child on own device

I recently bought Minecraft Dungeons in the Windows Store, and I'm trying to share the purchase with my daughter, who has her own Windows 11 device, but I can't get this to work. We have a family group set up, and we're both logged in to our own devices with our Microsoft accounts. I can see her activity in the Microsoft Family Safety app, so I'm sure she's logged in properly. She's also logged in to the Windows Store and Xbox apps with her own account, yet she doesn't have access to any of my purchases. How can I make sure she can download the game without needing to purchase it again? Thanks

    :)

  2. Store game not showing as purchased ... and not playable

    Hi, RRotter,

I am an Independent Advisor and will assist you.

Have you contacted Microsoft Store about the issue?

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/28808/...

Is the child signing into the device under your account with his own PIN number?

Have you checked your account to determine if the game is listed in your purchases?

Have you tried logging into your child's Store account using your PIN number instead of his?

can't seem to be able to share a purchased game (minecraft) with my grandson on his child account in windows 10

    Hello,

You can share your purchased apps from the Windows Store to your child's account. First, you need to ensure that your child's account is listed under your own Microsoft account. If it's not yet listed, you can

    add your child's Microsoft account
    .

Also, check Henrik's blog post from MSDN about sharing your Windows Store apps with your family members

    here
    .

    Regards.

    Child Account Get Greyed Out

Thanks for the suggestion, but I did the following instead.

I have another laptop, 2 weeks old, with Windows 10 Home on it.

On that one, I tried the same steps with the child account, and got the exact same results.
